At DIOM, we design, produce, and market furniture made primarily from local raw materials and both traditional and international craftsmanship.
Our holistic vision of Made in Senegal is built on a deep respect for local materials, knowledge, and the people who bring them to life. At DIOM, we see craftsmanship not just as a practice, but as a form of cultural resilience—and a pathway to thoughtful industry.
This vision is a direct extension of the pioneering work initiated by Aïssa Dione Tissus. Founded in 1992, the mother-house led the revival of traditional Senegalese weaving, adapting Mandjaque looms for upholstery textiles and opening a dialogue between ancestral techniques and modern design.
